I am interested in what happened in the case of Laura Johnson, the girl who was being tried for five charges of burglary and three of handling stolen goods during the London riots. I believe her case was due to be heard on 9 January, but I cannot find any details of whether it happened and what was the outcome. The reason I am curious is that the daughter of a friend of mine is serving 6 months for the theft of a pair of trainers, but of course she doesnt have a millionare for a father |

hi my name is chris. i am a door man from weston super mare, i have a clean record have never been in trouble withe law previously. in the summer i got arrested for striking a lad once to the face, i had to eject him from the bar i was working. i felt in fear of my safety as i had tried to calm him down and stop him going pst me to have a go at a female. i am properly scared of what will happen in court i dont want to go to prison!!! can somebody please tell me what is the worst that could happen and what is the most likely punishment i will recieve? the injuries were a double fracture of the jaw ie, the left and the right side. this resulted in him having a plate fitted to both sides thank you chris bennett |
