Advice needed

Hi,

I recently searched these pages as my ex husband (with whom I have no contact) has been requesting access to our children. I have found that he appears to have been a defendent in Crown twice this year. I say 'appears' as I am not sure whether it is him or someone with the same name. I have emailed the court twice to see if they can just confirm whether it is him or not however have had no reply. I understand that under the data protection act they are not necessarily able to share such information but this could be the deciding factor in whether he is allowed to see the children or not as I don't know what the charges are.

Is there any way I can access any further information, as it looks as though the case is ongoing but no further dates have been added on your pages.

Regards

advice on a company's duty of care
Can a sibling take a company to court over death of her brother.  My brother worked for a call centre company, he was unwell but did not want to take time off work because he feared for his job.  They had a three strikes and you are out policy.  Company was made aware of his illness but failed to reduce his workload etc during the period of ill health.  Found dead in his home by company employee who had left several messages to find out why he was not at work.  Died of the illness reported to the company.

Advice please
My granddaughters father has been in prison since January 2014 and was released only yesterday, however he was expecting to serve 13 years in prison! My question is I obviously know his name, the court where he appeared several times, even the prison where he served his time but I cannot find out exactly what he did for him to end up in prison. I have found his name on the and the names of the four other men who were also involved in whatever he did but I can't find out the crime he committed. I am worried because this is the third time he has been in prison at least to my knowledge. My daughter denies knowing what he has been in prison for but I need to know because I am concerned for  my granddaughters well being, she is only 2 years old. Is there anyway that I could find out, visiting the court for example? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help, from one very concerned grandparent.
