Verdict to be taken  
The latest update from a week ago in case where I was witness just says verdict to be taken. Can someone explain what this means? I'm trying to find out the end result if the trial. Thanks

Viewing crown court hearings  
Can anyone tell me please if this site allows you to view all Crown Court hearings even when the defendant's plea is not guilty?

WARRINGTON CROWN COURT  
Hi Just wondering why no cases for Warrington Crown Court on here. I don't seem to be able to find any listed, unless I'm missing something, thanks

what do I tell the probation officer  
My friend has been adviced by his barrister to plea guilty as if the case went to trial, he would defenitely get a custodial sentence as he did not have no solid evidence that he did not commit the crime. Now he has to go to a probation officer for a pre- sentence report. Does my friend tell him/her that he is not guilty, but said he was guilty to get a lesser sentence? Or when he/she asks him why he did the crime, does he "play" along and make something up??

What does "Case started" mean  
I'm currently a witness (well, the victim) in a sexual assault case and the defendant was in Crown Court on Monday for a Plea and Case Management hearing. I would love to know the results of this (and I was supposed to be told as soon as possible) but I've yet to hear anything, it's driving me to distraction.
