This role would suit someone who want to work in team that thrives on collaboration and innovation and works to harness new technologies and methodologies to attract and assess the best talent. You will be provided with the opportunity to work on a variety of projects from designing assessments for high volume roles such as prison officers and probation officers and specialist roles such as magistrates, forensic psychologists and key senior civil service roles. Responsibilities - Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients to conduct problem analysis and determine requirements.
- Lead on the design, development, implementation and evaluation of employee selection procedures, including psychometric tests, assessment centre exercises and structured interviews.
- Utilise new and innovative technologies and methodologies, applying professional judgement and expertise to deliver robust, cost-effective and relevant psychological tools and techniques.
- Design and deliver training packages to train assessors, interviewers and role players.
- Carry out statistical analysis and interrogation of data to quality assure assessment outcomes to ensure they are consistent, reliable, valid, free from adverse impact and legally defensible.
- Line management, professional development and supervision of trainee occupational psychologists.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide an integrated recruitment service.
- Respond to any other requirements, as directed, across MOJ People Group, in line with the general roles and responsibilities.

Other Abilities High level of verbal and written communication ability Technical/Qualification Requirements - Be a Registered Occupational Psychologist with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and have Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) status and membership of the Division of Occupational Psychology with the British Psychological Society (BPS), or be eligible to apply for or due to be obtained in the next 6 months (from the application closing date).
- Good understanding of recruitment legislation and Occupational Psychology Best Practice and its potential impact on assessment delivery and design.
- Good knowledge of statistics and competent in using SPSS.
