A thriving East Anglian commercial firm is looking for a senior Private Client Tax Solicitor to join their successful department. Partnership could be offered almost immediately. The department deals with Capital Tax Planning, Estate Planning and Trusts. Clients are a mix of individuals and corporate clients. Examples of the type of work involved include:-
* Capital tax and estate planning for individuals including tax planning through the incorporated and unincorporated business, business and agricultural reliefs, and inheritance tax.
* Acting for shareholders in relation to capital tax reduction strategies prior to selling private companies.
* Inland Revenue special compliance division tax enquiries for executors and individuals where fraud is suspected.
* Tax negligence.
* Variation of trusts and estates.
* Strategic capital tax planning involving family private wealth.

The ideal candidate will be a Partner or Associate with several years experience managing personal family wealth matters, able to operate without supervision. Corporate tax experience would be beneficial but is not essential. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to build a team and expand on the excellent foundations already present. Salary - better than leading regional commercial firms.
