The role

We are seeking a pensions solicitor to join the team in Bristol. You will become involved in the whole spectrum of pensions law and practice including drafting scheme documentation, providing regulatory advice, general advisory work, providing advice in relation to funding and investment management as well as some corporate support work including pensions advice relating to corporate acquisitions and disposals and PFI and outsourcing contracts. You will be afforded the opportunity to work on pensions litigation work should you have experience or wish to gain experience in this specialist field. You may also have the opportunity to work with our highly regarded public sector pensions team.

Technical skills and experience

You will have gained excellent experience in non-contentious pensions work in a high quality pensions team, covering the areas mentioned above. You may also have some pensions litigation experience although this is not a pre-requisite. Due to the nature of the work on offer and the structure of the team, we are seeking a lawyer with at least 4+PQE in pensions work.
