We are currently looking to recruit a Fast Track Litigator to join the Fast Track Litigation team within the Credit Hire Department. The role will be to manage a portfolio of 120 Fast Track litigated cases.
A Fast Track litigator's primary purpose is to conclude cases falling within the Fast Track wherever this will be to the benefit of the client and the financial benefit of the practice.
Cases will be referred to a Fast Track Litigator primarily from the issuing team County Court proceedings will be issued on all cases prior to receipt and a defense received. The sum in dispute will be 5k and above.
Through effective litigation, the Fast Track litigator will ensure that the firm is not exposed to limitation risks and that all internal procedures relating to litigation are followed at all times.

Research skills Technical Skills: Good working knowledge of the litigation processes Good working knowledge of PI claims handling and JSB guidelines Good working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules for example: Part 7 (issuing claims forms), Part 26 (allocation), Part 36 (offers), Good understanding of Insurance principles Negotiation An understanding of uninsured losses An understanding of Credit Hire is not essential as training will be given
