Lamb Building is a general common law set located in the Temple, in the heart of London.
Our members have depth and breadth of expertise in Civil Dispute Resolution, Criminal Law, Family Law and Immigration Law.
The main areas covered by the Civil Dispute Resolution Group are company and commercial, fraud and misrepresentation, individual and corporate insolvency, landlord and tenant and housing, personal injury, criminal injury & clinical negligence, public, local government and police law, professional negligence, property and wills (chancery, trusts of land, family provision, inheritance & probate) and mediation.
The Criminal Group deals with criminal law at all levels, with two Queen's Counsel and nine members undertaking leading junior work.
The Family Group practises across the whole range of family law from domestic violence, contact and residence, care, to ancillary relief / matrimonial and civil partnership finance, trusts (including TLATA), family provision (inheritance), wills and probate, education and best interests. Most of the members of the family group also practise as mediators.
The Immigration Group practise in all areas of asylum, immigration and human rights law.
Many of the barristers within chambers are also trained mediators and members of Lamb Building Alternative Dispute Resolution (LADR).
