    As the longest established Chambers in Teesside, Fountain Chambers has built a reputation as one of the leading multi-disciplinary Chambers in the North East. Over the last 30 years we have expanded steadily to meet the demand for specialist advocates in all areas of law to serve Teesside and the North East.     Fountain Chambers' professional excellence is underlined by its distinguished history of members being appointed to the judiciary: Judge A.N. Briggs, Judge L. Spittle, Judge P.J.B. Armstrong and Judge S.J. Ashurst; an Immigration Judge and the former Attorney General of the Turks and Caicos Islands. In addition, many of our members are Recorders and our recent head of Chambers, Mr Timothy Roberts Q.C., made history as the first appointed Queen's Counsel in Teesside.

    In addition members of Chambers are qualified as family mediators and members of the Family Mediators' Association. They provide mediation services through Fountain Mediation which holds a Legal Aid Agency contract to provide publicly funded mediation.
