Hi All, I was hoping to tap into people\'s expertise here. My family (A) has had endless issues with another family (B) in our area which has been ongoing for circa 4/5 years and we are based in England. a member of Family B stabbed someone to which I was a witness by means of being on the phone after the incident to the accused who admitted to doing so and was still on phone when the Police finally caught up to him and arrested him. I was contacted by the Police and asked to make a testament and be a witness if needed to secure his conviction which I duly did. Since we have had constant issues, we had our car tyres stabbed, my wife and children have received constant abuse and stuff thrown at them, we have had people come around to try hurt us etc.... all these have been reported to the Police and nothing happened, these individuals always seem to get away with it and we are left to pick up the pieces. Last Friday, they threatened my wife to kill her and my children were also in the car (aged 6 and 9) they were petrified and I believe they even tried to chase my family by car once my wife drove away straight to my work place as she was in bits rightfully so. I called 999 on the friday and eventually someone came around on the Monday to take statements and to date nothing, although they have picked up CCTV footage. Essentially I was wondering, what can this individual(s) be arrested and charged for and can they be sent to prison? This has left the entire family shaking, the kids wont even go to the toilet or a different room alone, I sleep in the hallway in case they actually come and that way I will be the first person they encounter rather than my wife or children... I would take an injunction against them, but cannot afford it. Thank you for any assistance in the matter.... JB
