hello all I have twofold request. the first is,due to very serious ill health long term I have had to cancel my dates for magistrates court in uk.i live abroad.i have pleaded guilty to all ofences.and asked that the magistrates deal with this without my attending,i am quite happy for it to go as an eitherway .case but the court just keeps adjourning the case.why if they feel they can not deal with this case because of the amounts involved don,t they refer the case to crown court,secondlly benefits were being paid although the person had passed away knowing what I was doing was wrong guilty no problem.the account had received over 100.000 pounds into it.of this amount due to very mitigating circumstances I used these monies 40000.00 over a long period of time.basically to feed my family and pay bills if I wante to live the high life the money was there for it ,but that is not why I did it.my question is as I stole only 40000 pounds and the remainder returned to the dwp.i am still being prosecuted for taking 100000,why is this thank you all please YES I did wrong but you are not aware of the circumstances so please can anyone give me a constructive answer. many thanks
