Have to hand date, or dates from to end of trial, name of individual before the court, type of case (civil or criminal), and of course as the first person indicated there are some rules regarding this type of request for information, you may for example have to apply in writing, state reasons for requiring the data, whether case involve children, family law etc..

Yes you can ring a court and ask for the result of a case in that court. There may be restrictions in some cases but that seems to be the general policy. Of course the courts are v.busy so be prepared with the case name/number.
