This records that the case is having a \'Newton hearing\'.

This is where the defendant has pleaded guilty to an offence on the basis of a

different version of facts from that put forward by the prosecution. The

prosecution disputes the basis of plea - they will have regard to the victim and

other parties involved in the case - and the court (no jury) has a hearing to

decide the facts of the case and the basis on which the defendant will be

sentenced.
