We would never recommend anyone to plead guilty to an offence that they did not commit. I would strongly suggest that before you make any decision

as to plea you contact a solicitor

who will advise you as to the consequences of a guilty or not guilty plea. If

there is any evidence (CCTV or witnesses) this will inform your final decision.

gbh without intent     (Posted on: 2011-12-17 18:43:01)

hi my name is chris.

can any one please help me?

i have a court case on the go, i was charged with gbh without intent section 20.

i am a door man from weston super mare in somerset, during a shift in july i had to remove a drunkemn idiot from the bar i was working.

all pretty standard then when out side his partner came out with a cut head, she had an altacation with another female.

he then kicked off and wanted to get passed me, he tried pushing past and on one occasion did so.

i then went and moved him away, he tried to get past me again whilst shouting at me, because of all this i felt fearful of my safety at this point and for that of the female.

i struck him once to the chin with no intention of causing injury of any seriousness.

i then turned, walked away back to the bar.

i was arrested a week and a half later, can any body please tell me what i can expect from this in a court?

and advise me wether to plead guilty to gbh without intent or not???????

thankyou
