you can apply to the court through your soicitor for an injuction agains him if in the event he manages to get out of jail time

because he has a history of mental illness they will more than likely take that into account so he will probably get off lightly.. i\'m guessing when he sees his son its at a supervised visitation centre?
but i agree you should write to the probation officer explaining your concerns.

daughters ex cannot control his temper. he has be found guilty of two counts of assault by beating. against me and a young lad who tried to prevent him from hurting me further....and criminal damage. he has no previous tho his docs has treated him for post traumatic stress etc..he has a history of mental illness....he pleaded not guilty and tried to turn it around so he was the one who was assaulted. he is to have a visit from probation in the next week and is going to be sentenced in the next 3 weeks...any idea what he may be sentenced to? the family worry is that he will fool probation and still intimidate my daughter..the mother of his young son...as he has access... any help much appreciated!
