 Error on Consent Order - is it valid ? (Posted on: 2011-02-26 11:05:52)
A claimant has filed a consent order with the court which I signed. However, on receiving the sealed copy of the order there is an obvious error on it. Underneath the signatures it states that I am the claimant and under the other party\'s signature it states that they are the defendant, which is the opposite of the truth. My question therefore is - is the consent order legally valid while it contains such an error ? Can I make the claimant go through the whole application process again (given that it cost them £14k to obtain this one) ?
