 Operation Nile - Met Police (Posted on: 2022-08-18 10:45:06)
Around 2012 there was a Met Police sting operation called Operation Nile. Every reference to this has disappeared from internet searches. Given the nature of this operation, and the numbers of people arrested in it, it would seem like something the Met would be talking about from a public protection/publicity perspective. There is no reference to this operation on the Met\'s own website either. It all seems very odd. Does anybody have any experience with/recollection of this operation? Please note this is a different Operation Nile to the Greater Manchester Police one which was related to drugs. Thank you for your help.
