I have just discovered my father is registered a paedophile. I stopped contact with him roughly 18 years ago as he was caught in a situation with a 13 year old girl and I was disgusted and worried for my 2 year old and my baby. I know he served time in prison in Southampton for that but not the exact prison, month or year. However after talking to his ex wife yesterday I have since discovered he has also served time in a prison in Newcastle for possessing images and videos of quite young children and is now on the sex offenders register for life apparently. I plan on confronting him one last time before contact is severed for good as I have been told he is a pathological liar so I don\'t believe him when he said he never laid a hand on my then 2 year old son. I am scared stiff and feel sick. I have been searching this site and pretty much all of google for information literally all night but there is nothing at all, not even 1 picture or news report. I can\'t ask my son if he remembers anything as he\'s almost 20 now and doesn\'t even remember our old home. Is there any way I can find out what he was charged with and sentenced for?
