Re:Sentencing Search
I seem to be having the same problem.  I know most of the dates of the 2 trials at Aylesbury Crown Court, the Defendants name, the date of the Court of Appeal hearing at the RCJ, but yet nothing comes up in any search, either dates, name or court.

Please help!

Re:Site Admin

Dear blue100uk

Thank you for comments. I can confirm that the site policy is not to discuss individual sentences or publish sentences on request.

The database contains a wide range of cases and many cases remain unreported anywhere else, however it is not yet comprehensive. The aim of the website is to assist the business community and the public with access to justice and provide insight as a trusted  information source for members and users of legal services.

If you require information about a specific case you can contact an investigator who may be able to assist you.

Kind regards

Re:Son charged - robbery
Judges (or Magistrates) have to consider mitigating and aggravating factors before they decide on a sentence. It doesn't seem as though your son planned to rob anyone and it was a chance meeting with the other boy which led to the crime. Here's a link to a page about sentencing guidelines, also Google 'sentencing guidelines for robbery offences' to get other answers.http://sentencingcouncil.judiciary.gov.uk/sentencing-guidelines.htm
