Hi I wonder if you can help. Ive tried using the data base available here to find out the results of a hearing.  Ive been unsuccessful,  I have the case no etc.  I just need closure basically,  Ive not heard anything from my friend,  not sure why and Im obviously thinking the worst.

Dear admin,
Many thanks for your sentence database. I am a university researcher and I have used the sentence database to search for records associated with the London riots to explore this topic.
I know that the database is not comprehensive of all cases sentenced in the UK, however, could you please let me know the sampling technique that you use to determine which cases were or were not included?
