Re:Re:A Hearing but No Sentencing info
It appears to be patchy at best. I'm not sure if this is the fault of the site or the courts themselves. It appears that some courts and cases that are of general public interest or concern appear on this site very quickly, while others which are of little or no public concern, do not appear at all. Rolf Harris and Andy Coulson had their lengthy entries on here within an hour of sentencing but nothing else from any court in the land for that day appeared until the following day and even that was incredibly patchy and the case I was interested in appears to have been totally overlooked.

Re:Re:ABH
I suggest you look into the directory section of this website, it has a full list of solicitors who act both locally and nationally as well as in speciaslised fields.

Re:Re:Access to case info?
Thank you for your advice, I've been checking with the court in question on a regular basis.

The hearing has been held, he's been found guilty and is due back in court in the new year for sentencing, I have a date for it, whether I'll be able to attend is another matter. But a guilty verdict is a great start on the road to justice! :-)

Whilst I agree, it could also mean that she has a good lawyer who has advised her to withheld her plea for as long as possible, this could be (and usually is) used as a waiting piece, whereas the defe...

Re:Re:Appealing against sentence!
Appealing against the conviction is usually a path that people who have denied guilt but been found guilty take. As you pleaded guilty and assisted the police, you are only able to appeal against the sentence. As the sentence you have received (£17 fine) is leanient to reflect the amount of cannabis in your possession (and you are lucky not to have had court costs added to it as well as your suspended sentence activated), I would just take the sentence and pay the fine. If you had challenged the legitimacy of the cannabis upon arrest/at the police station then the outcome may have been different for you. The cannabis(?) is likely to have been destroyed now and so unable to be tested. Hope this helps a little.
