Re:any one any idea what i should expect
You can view similar sentences on this website for affray and weapon possession. All sentences depend on aggravating and mitigating circumstances and the CCTV may help or hinder your sons case. The fact the suspended sentence was for a similar offence will be an aggravating factor and the suspended sentence may well be activated (8-months minus time served).

You can view the hearings list for Liverpool CC here: http://www.courtserve2.net/courtlists/current/crown/liver_T140527.01.htm

Re:Appeal possible?
if you want to challenge this decision then you have to take advice from a expert team of  criminal solicitors, i am sure they show you the right direction.

Re:Appealing against sentence!
I feel that as I actually showed them where the Cannabis was, as they had missed it during the search and the fact they came looking for stolen items NOT drugs, would give me grounds for appeal. Also the black hash the took was of such poor quality that if tested it may come back as henna and not cannabis at all.

Any advice would be gratefully accepted

Thank You

Re:Appealing against sentence!

Hi All - I have 2 days to decide whether to lodge an appeal or not against a conviction (I pleaded guilty at the Police Station, so earliest opportunity) This was for possession on 3.5 gms of Cannabis. The Police came to my house on a search warrant looking for items stolen from a postman\Can anyone help how do I appeal against a sentence that was given in crown court it was not enough

Re:Appeared

I, too am trying to find out if someone has been in court - and indeed if said person is due in court in the near future. Seems hard to discover.
