Re:Advice please
- The Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme (DVDS), also known as Clare’s Law gives victims the opportunity to apply for information about someone they are in a relationship with (right to ask), or in a relationship with someone they know (right to know)
- Under the DVDS scheme the applicant will need to give their name, address and date of birth and some initial checks will be done to establish if there are any immediate concerns
- For further information about the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme, or to make a request for information under it, contact the Police on 101 or visit your nearest police station.

Re:any help please

'Plea and Case Management hearing, case started' means the hearing where a defendant replies to a charge(s) put to him by the court had started when the information was recorded. If the defendant has pleaded guilty, he or she can ask to be sentenced immediately or the court may see no requirement for a delay (no pre-sentence reports required etc) in the proceedings. Otherwise, depending on the plea entered, the case will be listed for another hearing (for trial, sentence or further PCMH etc).

An explanation of most of the terms used in the court hearings system can be found here :- hearing details
