For a 2 year sentence the prisoner will have to serve half their sentence, however if they are eligible for HDC(home detention curfew otherwise known as TAG) it will be shorter

From the facts that you have given it would seem that the defendant did not turn up at court to register their plea, thus breaching their bail conditions. It will be adjourned for her to appear next time in order to give a plea so that the case can move forward

Hi there. I think you'd definitely be able to sue the company in the civil courts. Have you contacted a solicitor to ask them about that? You could also ask them about making a complaint to the police about the company in relation to the death - Health & Safety legislation? Good luck!
