Re:Re:Access to case info? (Posted on: 2012-12-23 02:32:24)
Thank you for your advice, I\'ve been checking with the court in question on a regular basis. The hearing has been held, he\'s been found guilty and is due back in court in the new year for sentencing, I have a date for it, whether I\'ll be able to attend is another matter. But a guilty verdict is a great start on the road to justice! :-) |

The Child Sex Offenders Disclosure Scheme - \'Sarahs Law\' - enables parents, guardians and third parties to enquire whether a person who has access to a child, is a registered sex offender, or poses a risk to that child. It is an offence under the Data Protection Act 1998 to make a false application. You can view the following days hearing lists here: http://www.courtserve.net |

Access to case info? (Posted on: 2012-11-26 07:01:35)
Is there any way I can legally obtain information of an ongoing court case? The person in question is wanted for several crimes, but most predominantly he\'s due in a Crown Court any day now on charges of downloading / distributing \'indecent images of children.\' He also has a history of violence towards women... Is it possible to get information on a case for a person like this? Would the public be allowed into the gallery during such a case being held? I really don\'t know where I stand with this, I\'m quite out of my depth! Please help if you can, any advice you can offer is deeply appreciated! |
