A \'T\' number represents a case that will go to Trial at Crown Court (unless the defendant pleads guilty, case is dropped, etc)

An \'S\' number relates to case that has been sent to Crown Court by a lower court (Magistrates) for a Committal for Sentence

In either types of case other hearings, of course, can take place as appropriate such as Mention, Newton Hearing, Breach of Order, etc.
